Refined through the Flame

Check this out– one of the great things about Frontline– the worship team. We did this in worship, Desert Song, about a month ago and I’ve been listening to it ever since on YouTube. I did a little research to find out who wrote it and the read the lyrics…

Brooke Fraser wrote the song– LOVE her. If you haven’t listened to her music before (available on Itunes!), check out her out.

In my research, I found out that Brooke did this with Jill McCloughry– check out the video and listen to Jill’s awesome testimony.

As Jill points out, God uses trials to further refine us and draw us closer to Him.

Romans 5: 2b-5,
“And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
